As repositories of collective knowledge, a grimoire-- or spellbook-- treads on the line between the real and the magic. By mixing incantations and prayers with sciences such as botany and astronomy, the practice of recording invocations serves as a unique way to explore collective knowledge, imagination, and the world of phantasms.

We're proud to have collected eleven spellbinding poems by writers Allison Armstrong, Manahil Bandukwala, Ellen Chang-Richardson, Emily Coppella, Nina Drystek, Ariel Dawn, Samantha Godwin, Nisa Malli, Helen Robertson, Erin Emily Ann Vance and Vivian Wagner.
