Join us the evening of Tuesday, February 27th for a night of poetry and good times. The night will feature readings by some amazing poets.
The author of two previous chapbooks - CLIMBING OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES HANDS (In/Words Press, 2016) and YOU ARE A BAD PERSON (Self-published, same year) -- Ian Martin is a retired movie extra living in Ottawa. Ian's work has appeared recently in Pretty Owl Poetry, In/Words, rout/e, and Absolutely Orbital. Ian burps profusely and hopes to one day publish a Medium article.
Manahil Bandukwala is an artist and writer currently living in Ottawa, where she is an editor for In/Words Magazine. Her work has appeared in In/Words, Bywords, the Ottawa Arts Review, re:asian, where is the river, and other places.
Conyer Clayton, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, is an Ottawa based writer and gymnastics coach who aims to live with compassion, gratitude and awe. Check out her chapbook, “The Marshes” (& co Collective, 2017). She has been published widely in Canada and the U.S., including Prairie Fire, The Maynard, In/Words, Bywords, Transom, and phafours press. She won Arc's 2017 Diana Brebner Prize.
