This Hallowe'en, Coven Editions is excited to present to you six haunting chapbooks and broadsides by the terrifying and talented Frances Boyle, Conyer Clayton, Dalton Derkson, Rachel Fernandes, Laurie Koensgen and Jessica Robinson.

Frances Boyle is the author of two books, the novella Tower, published in 2018, and the poetry collection Light-carved Passages from 2014. A second book of poetry will be published in 2019. Her stories and poetry have appeared in literary magazines and anthologies throughout Canada and the U.S. including, earlier this year, The Fiddlehead, The New Quarterly, The /tƐmz/ Review, Juniper, Bywords, and the Coven Editions chapbook of magical micro-poems, Conjurations. Frances is part of the editorial team at Arc Poetry Magazine, and reviews for Canthius magazine.
Laurie Koensgen is a cultural worker living in Ottawa. Her poems have appeared in ARC Poetry Magazine, Literary Review of Canada and In/Words. She was shortlisted for The Malahat Review’s Far Horizons Award for Poetry 2018. Laurie is a founding member of the Ruby Tuesdays poetry collective.
Conyer Clayton, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, is an Ottawa based writer and gymnastics coach who aims to live with compassion, gratitude and awe. Check out her chapbook, “The Marshes” (& co Collective, 2017). She has been published widely in Canada and the U.S., including Prairie Fire, The Maynard, In/Words, Bywords, Transom, and phafours press. She won Arc's 2017 Diana Brebner Prize.
